Country, Family, or Freedom
This village was in existence long before Frankenstein established Promethea. The village was built around the rich viticulture that started in the area. Jaristea is prosperous for a town of its size, being mostly self-sufficient and exporting wine to Focsani. The village is in a picturesque location with rolling hills in the northwest with mines located on the other side of the hills. Forest line the eastern side of the village divided by the main road that runs through the center of town. Businesses line the main road with farms and houses dotting the countryside.
Not much has changed in the village since Promethea was established. That is besides the checkpoints on either side of the village road, the regular guard patrols, the recently built guard house and holding cells, the occasional Harvest, and a loss of freedom. Most of the people in the village have grudgingly grown accustomed to life under Victor Frankenstein. Some have thrived, others have been hindered, and a few are still furious over the changes. The people try to carry on as best as they can and are grateful that the worst of Promethea has yet to come to their village. So far.
